How to clean plush toys

Coarse salt dry cleaning method.

Put the plush toy into a plastic bag, add a small amount of coarse salt, tie the bag tightly and shake vigorously. Repeat this action about 40 times, then take out the toy and shake off the coarse salt on the surface. This way, the plush toy will become cleaner.

Water washing method.

Prepare water and wool detergent, mix them to produce foam, use a soft brush dipped in foam to clean plush toys, and then put it into clean water to clean. This method is applicable to most plush toys.

Washing machine cleaning method.

Put the plush toy into the washing machine, add a small amount of salt and neutral laundry detergent, soak for 30 minutes, and then clean it. This method is suitable for larger or complex plush toys and can prevent hair loss, thread detachment, and deformation.

Soda powder cleaning method.

Using baking soda instead of coarse salt for dry cleaning, especially suitable for plush toys that make sounds.

Natural drying method.

After cleaning, place the plush toy on the clothes rack, fix the shape with a rope to prevent deformation, and air dry in a ventilated area.

When choosing the appropriate cleaning method, it is necessary to consider the size, material, and suitability of the toy for water washing. For larger plush toys or plush toys that make noise, it is recommended to use a washing machine cleaning method. For smaller plush toys, dry cleaning or water washing methods can be chosen. Regardless of the cleaning method, the plush toys should be thoroughly dried after cleaning to prevent moisture and mold.
